TERMS
& CONDITIONS
QUOTES & PAYMENT
Quotes are prepared on the basis of an approximate number at the time of an enquiry. If numbers fall by more than 10% the price may have to be increased.
On booking Stephanie’s catering - a
non-refundable deposit of between £50 - £150 will be made depending upon type
of function booked. The remainder is payable on the day of the function by cash
or cheque made payable to S Chapman.
FINAL NUMBERS AND SPECIAL DIETS
The final number of guests to be
submitted, 7 days prior to the event for final invoice. At this stage we can
usually accommodate an extra guest or 2 but numbers cannot go down. Special
Dietary requirements must be notified 7 days prior to the event. A surcharge
will apply pro-rata should more guests attend than specified although we cannot
always guarantee extra food will be available.
Due to Food & Hygiene Regulations
all food that has been served un-refrigerated will be removed.
Stephanie's catering cannot prepare or
serve any food supplied by the client with the exception of wedding cake.
STAFF
Staff are available at any function of
more than 20 guests at an approximate ratio of 1/15.
Meals will be provided for all staff,
provided by ourselves, at no extra cost to the client. However meals for
entertainers, photographers, nannies etc must be included in final numbers and
paid for by the client.
FACILITIES
Stephanie’s catering will require
access to the area of the event in order to unload with parking adjacent to
kitchen door or serving marquee.
If hot food is to be served an adequate
sized oven to be made available and work service / preparation area with washing
facilities & electricity.
The cost of hired ovens, heated
cabinets & refrigerated vans to be met by the client.
DAMAGE/LOSS OF EQUIPMENT
The client is responsible for any
damage, breakage, or loss to any property of Stephanie’s catering hired for
the client’s function.
All breakages are subject
to the full replacement cost to the hire company and will be invoiced after the
event.
Stephanie’s catering
cannot be responsible for the removal of perishable items, napkins etc. except
the removal of bottles purchased through Stephanie’s
CANCELLATION
In the event of a
cancellation the following apply:
Within 30 days notice:
the non-refundable deposit may be transferred to another date subject to
availability
14 days notice: 50%
of cost of event will be applied
7days notice: 100% of cost of event will apply
